CYCLIST: NED LAMB -- MISSION: PARIS

This is a 4 day blog covering my quest to cycle from Grenwich in London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It is in aide of the British Legion and I am undertaking this task along with 300 other cyclists but more specifically with my team the Norfolk Nomads(excuse the cheesy name. The team consists of Norman Lamb MP, Ed Foss (journalist at the EDP), Phil Webster (journalist at the Times), Mike Talbot (ITV), Gillian Page (Fassion Connoisseur) and myself Ned Lamb (Normans son, on Gap Year)

Its lunch time the day before...

I am starting to feel apprehensive about the next 4 days. I can visualise the romance of cycling from London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but little thought goes to the actual effort of getting between the two locations. Starting will be a great feeling and so will finishing, however having only done about 250 miles of cycling to prepare for this, I dont feel to perky about the challenge ahead. So! Despite the fact that I feel immensily underprepared I am suited in confidence of youth and am ready to go.

Anyway I will blog every night and hopefully before I leave each morning. Wish me luck!!
